Terms of use: a plain-English summary
Your agreement is with CoinCorner Ltd under Isle of Man law; the terms say the virtual asset services and the fiat currency wallet are not regulated by the Isle of Man FSA, the FCA or any other regulator, and that pound and euro e-money is issued by Mercury Foreign Exchange Limited.
The binding version is the Terms of Use on CoinCorner's main site at coincorner.com/legal/iom/terms-and-privacy-policy, last updated on 30 September 2026. This page only summarises it.

What the terms say is not regulated or protected
The Virtual Asset Services and Fiat Currency Wallet “are not regulated by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (FSA), United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), or any other regulator”.

The terms add that no ombudsman, compensation or guarantee scheme applies to those services. The risk disclosure sets out what that means for you.
Supported assets and accounts
The terms list four supported virtual assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USD Tether. Consumer pages are about Bitcoin, so check in your account which assets you can buy. The terms also describe a Reward Account, which they say “isn't a deposit account or a bank account”; no rate is shown on this site.
Vault terms
Insurance for Bitcoin in the Vault does not start on the day of transfer. Cover starts when the Bitcoin reaches the wallet address the policy covers, “typically on the first day of the calendar month following the month in which the transfer occurs”. Bitcoin held before then is not covered, and cover is subject to the policy's terms, limits and exclusions. See how the Vault works.
Prohibited activities, governing law and updates
A separate Prohibited Activities page, last updated on 24 May 2018, lists account uses that are not allowed. The terms are governed by Isle of Man law. If you disagree with how they were applied to you, use the complaints procedure; the privacy policy covers personal data.
Know the risks before you agree
The risk disclosure says what can go wrong with Bitcoin and which protections you do not have.
